Dr. Matthew Green was born and raised in Connecticut and earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Connecticut. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from Boston University, graduating magna cum laude in 2015, and completed a four-year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC) in 2019.
At South Shore Oral Surgery Associates (SSOSA), Dr. Green practices full scope oral and maxillofacial surgery, with particular interests in dental implants, bone grafting, wisdom tooth removal, outpatient anesthesia, trauma, and oral-facial reconstruction.
Dr. Green is on staff at NUMC, where he manages complex maxillofacial trauma cases and trains oral and maxillofacial surgery residents. He also serves as a Junior Board Examiner for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS) and holds the rank of Captain in the United States Army Reserve as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon.
He maintains certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
